Five Reasons Why your Closet is Overflowing, and You Still Have Nothing to Wear.

Updated: Mar 18

In the era of consumerism and fast fashion, we rarely lack clothes anymore. Usually, there are plenty of choices for every taste and budget. But this creates a new problem - your closet is full, but it is a constant struggle to find something special to wear. Here are the Five main reasons why:

  1. Many of your clothes don’t fit anymore or are outdated, such as that pair of low-rise jeans from ten years ago. Yes, the low rise is back but with a new twist.

  1. Your clothes don’t match your lifestyle. For example, your wardrobe is full of party dresses, but you rarely go clubbing anymore.

  1. You are an impulsive, emotional shopper. As a result - you have lots of clothes you had chemistry with at first sight, but they don’t match your lifestyle or the rest of your wardrobe.

  1. You love to shop sales. Yes, it is nice to hunt for great designers for less, but the downside is that the styles could be from five seasons ago. You risk looking outdated. Oh, and timeless pieces rarely go on sale.

  1. You have a misbalance of good quality basics and trendy accent pieces, and it is difficult to make looks from them. For example, you have tons of cute tops and stylish shoes and not enough versatile basic bottoms. However, having only basic pieces will make your looks uninteresting and dull.

There are other reasons why your wardrobe may lack versatility and easy tricks on fixing that without investing in a whole new one. I teach all this during my favorite service - a wardrobe review and edit. Please contact me if you have any questions about the process!
